দিকভ্রান্ত

রংচটা কলেজের দেওয়ালে
রাজনীতি-দুর্নীতির ভিড়
চায়ের কাপে তুফান তুলে অযথা
হৈ  চৈ চিৎকার।
তারপর  বেলা শেষে
সব আদর্শ-টাদর্শ জলাঞ্জলি দিয়ে
বাড়ি ফেরা---রোজকার দিনলিপি
মেকি রং, মেকি কথা
দেখে, শুনে ক্লান্ত, দিকভ্রষ্ট কোনো মেয়ে
ফাগুন হাওয়ায় দাঁড়িয়ে।

Politics and corruption--
They come hand in hand
and their shadows on the college wall
Cups of tea in the crowded canteen
they shout their ideologies
Then at the end of the day
They go back to their home
The young woman observes this...
Everyday....the artificial color and talk
She feels tired of those
and stands at the bus stop
while enjoying the gentle spring-breeze.
