Not loved enough

She was not loved enough
She didn't feel very special
in his life.
Though there were some rare moments
When she felt some connection.
They both were good human beings
who cared for each other
and took each other's responsibility. 
There was some kind of love
and this kind of love
is gradually becoming alien in this world.

Being a hetero-romantic person
Being an ACE (though not aware of)
and a good human at the core
She continuously nurtured her love
and tried to find reason.
May be she had great demand
for love that can not be fulfilled
by anyone on this planet.

But meeting him unexpectedly
quite late in her life
and through brief interactions
all reasons were altered and
thrown in the air.
She found it is possible
to feel what she wanted to feel
in LOVE.

Cost of Love

Our love is expensive
It is valuable
more than a jewel.
Our love costs us
I was on the edge,
on the border of losing my reputation
--the reputation of the outer world.
Still I hold you
close to my heart.
'cause, I know who we are!
So, love me from the morning and
love me till the moon appears in the sky.

Lamppost of the back alley

Spreading four legs
the dog sleeps as if it is dead.
Another one, at some distance
sleeps like a cue ball.
Some nights, I see some men
three, four, or five
to gather in the back alley
ignoring the rule of social distancing. 
They don't know
they are observed.
Why they sometimes lit a fire
under the lamppost
--a curious question to ask.
Have they taken a social responsibility
of burning  trash?
And if so, why don't they choose a
different lamppost each time they burn?

Compensation

I made a mistake
I rectified.
I allowed her
to paint my face with colors
--the one thing she is passionate about.
I showered her with love and affection.

From today--I decide
she is not worthy of my love and warmth.
But she is worthy of compassion
in front of the almighty!
So, I send a different message to the universe
To make it up
To compensate.
