An Image

What I think now
How I think often
Is an image -- fragmented, pieces

I know I cannot do the same mistake;
If I do, I will be called a daft!
By you and the countless people
Who live outside my insane world
Or from whom I repel myself.

A Uranus Woman!
Full of electricity..
Ran on the road
And lost.

If she comes back
If she rises again
From the heap of ash

I know
I still have hopes
I still have the image
If not full....but pieces.

In Solitary

In solitary
He looked at her;

And she looked through the window--
the winding road and the yellow sunshine!

In solitary
a ball of wool rolled down the shelf
And a kitty became playful ...

In solitary
when you know
that your love is shared among three!

It's a bit painful!

However, you think
you need such love
to live...
In solitary (?)

Loneliness

Loneliness -- Please be seated!

Let's face each other now
Let's look at carefully
You and I; In silence

This tall city and narrow roads
This chilly North Wind
And deep mist...

You change color
Like a chameleon

In New York City
Loneliness -- Let's make love!

The Woman

I see you
Closing my eyes…

I feel you
Through my senses…

I feel your presence
Every day and night;
Even I am not sitting in front of you
With a book in my hand and
Asking for explanation.

I know you hate
Any long distance relationship;
You just don’t believe in love
Which cannot be touched and seen.

But I know
One day,
You will believe in such love!
In which you just don’t share the secret
With anybody at all
Cause’ they will not trust you.

I know (certainly)
One day you will
Tell them all;

That years after years
You loved a woman,
Who lived in your mind and vein
With hundreds lights and flames.

A letter to a friend

Moon!

I want to run to you
I want to come back

Everything here seems so strange
Everything here is so puzzling
I can't fit in anymore...

Moon!

I want to return
I want to come back

I don't belong here
In this city
And I don't know anymore
Where I belong...

Moon!
I want to run to you
and hide my face in your arms
like a little child

Moon!
I am only four years old.

Love Tree

Lyrics touch me the most
as I play with words...

I feel my love is blooming;
Is it so?
If yes
I guess, I worked hard for it.

This is not the time
Yes, you are not ready yet
to take my words
in your heart.

So, I must wait
wait for the spring
when you could carry the words I have.

But, it's true
it's showing
the day is not very far....
when the flower will blossom
and the tree will grow,
that we planted in our backyard.

So, I must wait
wait for the spring
when you could carry the things I have
the words and melodies
the lyrics and songs...

Some Breaks

Something she should write
Some words, some sounds
Their endless grief and sorrow...

Something she should write
eleven fractures and one biopsy
She wants to listen
those breaks, cracks, shifts and pieces
unending and silent....

She is blessed
That she can listen some sounds...
some breaks, cracks, shifts, and pieces

She is blessed
to have them all
Around her
who can listen some sounds
some breaks, cracks, shifts, and pieces

Like Her!

Last Bit of Summer

Soon, my brain will be busy
With full of words and statements;
Will be busy in judging
What they are saying...

This is the last bit of my leisure
Though really not!
As I just got a break from my summer work;
And you know I always travel through haze
And very less brightness
Rarely I see
Like a rare guest at my place.

Soon, my brain will be busy
in writing and thinking of you -- my subjects!
Though I do not know
How much I think of them
Or how much I want to think
In my darkness and light;

This is the last bit of my pleasure
In the end of the summer
So, I want to write
I want to write
Not you
but poetry.

Our little owlet

The nest is ready
To welcome
our sweetheart;
Our little owlet!

Do you know that we took the same pain?
All the way down
and greeted the new dawn
with same vigor?

Our little owlet!
Will you ever know that
we had the same darkness
and same fear.

Our little owlet!
Will you ever know
that we have the same heart
same bones and veins
hidden under our feathers.

Our little owlet!
Now please take some rest.
And don't Screech.

A man in Paradise

A man
stands still
like a shadow
outside the gate.

Inside
They are ready;
To welcome this new member
who's a simple heart
full of love.

This black man
thin and frail
Just received the pass of paradise.

But they moaned
and grieved
like all other mundane creatures
Of the World!

Writing

Very Nice
A pair of eyes
She writes.

Pale hands
Feverish body
A pair of eyes
She writes.

Flower vase
Rosy lips
Thorny hips
A pair of eyes
She writes.

Lover Girl

She is

A Lover Girl
Lover Girl

She shows
She hides
She fails
She wins

She is

A Lover Girl
Lover Girl

She cries
She smiles
She paints
She wipes

She is

A Lover Girl
Lover Girl

Home Coming

Losing all her hopes
yet smiling!

Trembling all her faiths
Yet smiling!

Cut off from all her energies
Yet smiling!

She is away...
Afar from home.

She is away...
not knowing that
she might not find
the way back to the city
which she left behind.

Orgasm II

She just realized
Her naked body is beautiful.

Actually not "just"
It was beautiful before
But she forgot
and didn't take any effort to remember...

Now, after this soothing bath
under this natural spring
When she reached orgasm

She sighed!
and realized!

Even the ugliest woman in the world
looks elegant after orgasm.

Surrender

Seems like you are holding too much
Too much uncertainty in your mind
Too much fear for future.

Life had been rough and windy
Tight and rigid
Tears and sobbing

Too much!
That you feel tired.

Now I say
Set yourself free...

And Surrender
to the unknown
to the Divine.

Seeing

I don't care
What you think
If I write this poem
candid and clear!

I know, I can see
YOU
Shutting the door as usual
and quickly taking the elevator
To go downstairs..

I know;
Now you are in rush
to see your gracious daughter
like the past summer
When you used to rush...
To see her beautiful mom!

Memories

We had umbrella
but we didn't use
Instead
Got drenched in the rain...

You opened the door
and I got the pass to enter;
To drink
warm coffee
In the winter..

I was shivering;
You gave shelter
And food.

YOU

My Lord
My Love.

I don't

Darling!
I want to say
I want to say
Softly and Calmly
placing my mouth
close to your ear!

That I don't fear
No, I not
Not anymore;
Your love And Your life
Though it's not mine.

'Cause I have seen the light
Upward and above;
'Cause I have seen the truth
In harmony and peace.

The Coffee House

It's not the fog or dense mist
Which has just filled up this coffee house;
the Second floor and the First;
And around the table where I am sitting...

Indian Coffee House at College Street;
A favorite place to many!

It's not the fog or dense mist
which engulfed my all presence, my existence;
It's the sound,
Like the sound of a waterfall;

This sound spreads to all corners
This sound creates an encrypted language
In the room, on the floor and on the ceiling.

This sound and this language;
I try to decode.

Summer

I could feel those large chunks of clays
under my feet.
It's summer;
And the field is bare, dry.
No rain; so no crops.

In this complete dryness
Under the scorching sun
I closed my eyes,
And ducked my face in your arms...
For a moment you were so close to my heart;
That I cried in silence.

Space Crunch

You said: Honey!
It's silly
To look for a space
in such a crowded city
to sit
and kiss.

I said: Honey!
You are new
in the city;
Never came before
In such a place
Where space is itself crunched!
And so love is
in a half by half meter box.

Daughter

She looked at her carefully;
Kissed lightly on the forehead.
Rosy lips, closed eyes, and soft fingers;

The baby was asleep.
She pulled her;
Close, closer to her own body.

She often thought of her;
IN REALITY
IN DREAM

Sitting alone at a corner of her room
Under the shower
Water trickled on her feet...

She often conceived her
So ardently that
One day, she was born.
IN REALITY
ASHLEEN

Her baby
born from her divine will.

The Story of a Prince

Long Long ago
She met a prince;
The powerful and handsome prince
Was proud of his knowledge.

Because of his knowledge of the universe
He knew all the stars, moons, and planets
Even beyond that …

The prince had a princess
Not young, but beautiful.
In due course of time, the princess left the prince.
And she gradually noticed the prince to be lonely, depressed, and morose
Almost all the time.

Loss in life made him soft.
Grief made him more compassionate to others
And his heart got drenched in rain;
The earth was slowly preparing him to be the future king.

The prince was brave and courageous.
And was able to learn the deep knowledge of life
So, he moved on....
Without looking back
Forward and forward....

One year later, he found another princess.
This time, he was not disappointed and they got married soon.
The prince became the new king and they lived happily.

All of these occurred in front of her
All she observed while living with the prince and within
She – the eternal bliss,
The strength and weakness
The soul and its quest!

Ecstasy/Orgasm I

As still as a fish
Eyes round, without lashes.

She lies under the water;
Close to the river bed and small pebbles
Her silver colored body just reached to orgasm.

The Fisher

Holding the oar tightly
he looks at the tide;
The rivers are broad and deep
The creeks are full.

It’s midnight.
Over his head,
the silent universe and the crescent moon
keenly observe this young fisher.

He looks at the forest;
The forest quickly drops a shadow
On his face,
Under his eyes;
And he smiles in his mind.

At this moment
When you see him
holding his oar,
looking at the tide, forest, and river
smiling;
You will certainly know
He is yours.

Human

No more past
No more future
Only present.

Please, say some words
about us
Now
at this moment.

But, I do the error
By thinking the storm
the waves and the wind

I am human.

Not Unclean

Stop taking my name baby!
They will not understand
So, just shut your mouth.

For me, what I do and
How I think
very candid and clear
like a crystal ball

The code is different for us.
For our love!

Even you see our love
from the mountain top
and think it is impossible
to touch the ground (for US)

love is love!
So, please stop making it unclean.

Trail

It's the trail
she keeps everyday
for their love.

In the forest
beside the river
she listens to the swarming bees.

In the forest, on the mud banks
she observes: crabs and grass
roots, fruits and the broken boats.

It's high tide!

The trail will be vanished soon;
But she needs to try
with the best effort and intention.

Rodin

The ecstasy and joy
On her face and body;

She shows
The distress she has
And the suffering she feels
While she is lying on the floor.

Her hands and eyes
fingers and every curves
express: the deep joy and love
the scream, hurts and pains
which we all have inside.
our bloods and wounds

She pours in
with Rodin
Or the opposite;

And I kiss kiss kiss
All the sufferings
She has
I have
We all have.

Spring Break

It's the pain
At this moment
All I have...

Before departing
I only imagine
Your face
And deep eyes
And the color black

The coat
was hanging
on the hook
on the wall
on your body
covered and yet uncovered

All I have now
Is pain

The day is cloudy
And it's raining
And the shadows of clouds
Spread all over the places
On the street
On the roof
On the garret

All I have now
Is pain
And your face
And long grasses
And the Spring Break
You enjoy.

He

He loves women
Every kind of;
Introvert and extrovert
Pretty and cute
Ugly and intense.

He loves women
If they have substance
Within!

He loves women.

And I love him
Cause, he reads women
and the intelligence

He loves women
Again, Who does not?

The gaze

She felt the fixed gaze
On her face.
The wind was strong
...it blew her hair
And made a quick serpentine
In the air...

His eyes were narrow and sharp
... He was guessing: The future

The gaze;
She absorbed and consumed
...perplexed and confused
She decided to wait.

A Rainy Day

Everything soaked and drenched.
It's raining here
In this small town
Since the morning.

The leaves are wet and green.
It's raining here
On the windscreen
Drop by drop.

And with this rain
I hear your voice
The flow and flux...
I see my eyes
In yours.

All she needs

She needs to understand..
As she passes through phases of life
Less words are needed now
To express this love..

She needs to understand ..
As she sees him day by day
To grow in love and happiness.

Silence. All she needs now.
So, hush!
She needs less, even less words.

Space

I create the space
And you watch over it.
In this light and shadow,
We plant and grow
A deep clandestine love.

It’s not a SIN
Since it has flow…
In this light and shadow
It has truth.

Woman

I feel
I am still a girl;
NOT a woman.

Can somebody explain?
What it means to be a woman
What is the difference?
What?? Please....

Is it all about pain?
Seeing, Feeling, Eating, Absorbing...
AND no joy!

Life

You never know what life is holding for you

May be not magnanimous

But some little things

A happy sunshine

And red roses

Ahh! Enough to live

You must live your life.

Feeling

Her soul sank these days
In a deep blue ocean water;
Now only the ice—not fragile at all
But hard like a permafrost
Fills her inside.

Why this battle time and again?
She fights everyday;
Either win or lose the game
The game—takes away her all
The sunshine and the rain
The stars and the heaven.
