মাঝ রাতে উঠেও
লিখেছি সাদা পাতায়
কলম রেখেছি মাথার কাছে
যদি  ভুলে যাই
যদি শব্দেরা প্রতারণা করে
যদি ফাঁকি দিয়ে যায়
তোমার ভালোবাসা
শব্দের আসা যাওয়া
তোমার ঘৃনায় কি
তারা আমার চৌকাঠ ভুলে যাবে?

to remove "me"

...the way we remove
unwanted plants
from our garden.

let me remove
let me withdraw

and then transform
into an observer
occupying a distant
vantage point

অপেক্ষা অন্তহীন
তবু গোটা ডিসেম্বর
তোমার দেখা নেই।

ওবাড়ি ছেড়ে
সিঁড়ি ভেঙ্গে
অথবা না ভেঙ্গে
আসবে কি  আমার কাছে ?
এলে দেখবে
আমায় আর দেখা যায় না সহজে
পর্দা নেমে গ্যাছে
পর্দার আড়ালে আমার ছায়াই
কি খুঁজবে তবে ?
