She murmured while gently holding his hand.

While walking she likes to hold his arm
--the way a Hollywood actor would hold the hand
of her beloved...

She loves everything perfect around her
---not in a mess!
At least she imagines everything
in a perfect state and order
She lives in a dreamy world
where there is no grim.

In reality, her apartment
her state of living is merely tolerable...
Since childhood
she lived with her dream
of making things perfect
but never came closer to it.

my Earth has developed cracks
Banyan and Peepal 
have grown inside those...

And do you know
my Sky has covered the earth?
Some days I feel
I am losing touch
with the earth, with soil
with grass and grasshoppers

Could you see
my Sky has covered my soul?
My Sky has engulfed me so much
that my everyday survival
is now a constant struggle
Could you see
you are destroying my "self"
and I am slowly becoming you

We have no happiness left
We are like sad sculptures
built in a grim city square
We can't even cry
We have no water left
We have no rain.

Do you know your heart is like the
world's deepest trench in the Pacific--
the Mariana trench.

--No, I didn't know that
you even find trench in my heart!
And I was less interested in geography
So, I always escaped any geographic feature
be it mountain, ocean, or trench.

(They smiled)

--Do you know?
you are very good in hiding your feelings
Just like me!
You are good at acting
You are able to bring a smile
even if your heart is like a dry, parched field.

--No, I didn't know that
But, you are right!
No one can read me like
the way you read.
