The world has taught me a lesson
The cost of being a messenger;
Still I can't resist
I do this only considering
our past
I am bound to protect you
the way I can.

The pouncing leopard

In her dream
he appeared in shorts
His white legs;
She saw received some imprints
like a leopard skin.
He was unaware
that she has noticed those marks.
The human-leopard didn't give him a chance
and pounced on him
Before he could save himself
he was violated by its tongue
She saw it licked his beard
before reaching his lips
He got squeezed under its arms.

Ches and You

Ches is unique
She has enormous capacity of loving people...
I always hold her in high regard
Ches is liberal too...
but if you compare between us
there is a slight difference..
And I don't know what is that.
She is the one who identified your soul
and used the word "blessed"
I also felt that but didn't disclose.
Whenever we met you
We saw the light.

Unfolding

I feel sorrow in my heart
for the little tigress
I had loved her
The way I love him.
But, I don't want to make myself weak
Any sort of weakness
could bring more cloud
and future storms
I have ways...
I am not helpless
I am neutral
like an observer;
I am neutral;
I am tired of all unfolding
unfolding of events...
But, unfolding may bring light too
with a new beginning!
I want to leave
peacefully.

I have fear
fear to even show my feelings
I have fear
fear to even share my thoughts
through few words
through poetry...
'Cause there are people
 surrounding thy
Who would even have objections
To poetry and
therefore, to love.

Little Tigress

Hey little tigress
Don't be so aggressive
He is not only yours
He is mine too.
This amusing thought filled my mind
while walking back to my place.
The afternoon--When I smiled at her
and I wasn't reciprocated
I at once ignored her presence
and concentrated on him.
I felt the way a tigress snarls
and protects her territory
she turned into such.
With her nails when she started making noise
I felt a soft corner for her.
The whole image of a Bengal tigress
splashed and lingered there...
But today, I wouldn't call her a tigress
Time has changed
and she has turned into a
cunning leopard.

Sam

Sam and I met at the coffee shop.
It was a lovely autumn afternoon
We met with the intention of hanging out;
The coffee shop was a popular place
among grad students
-a place to study and meet new people.
I was getting intoxicated day by day.

After meeting, I always had a hangover
--the type which always left a pain--
a  kind of pain which was hard to nail down.
Sam became a fire
I jumped into it and got burnt.

Sam, I know you loved me
A kind of love which lacked honesty.
Sam, I know, if we meet again
we will have the same flame and passion
but it would come with a price.
