I had decorated the sky in blue color
You didn't show up.
I had decorated the floor
with soft green carpet
You didn't sit on that.
Like the muse of Omar Khayyam
I wanted to hold the chalice
closer to your lips and
fill it up with unending flow of wine
You didn't fulfill my wish.

Null and Void

We have emptiness inside us.
As our ending is going to be a tragic one;

From now and in future
Whatever we would do
We have to face our own vacuum.
Our souls would become fragile sand
of a migratory dune;
With the storm,
One day there will be no more sand and
Our souls will look at the universe
like the void chamber of human eye.

Enough Reason

There is enough reason
to leave you in your own state.
There is enough reason for me
not to be with you.
The first and foremost is that
You lacked inner consciousness to find me.

On the contrary,
throughout my journey with people and places
I looked for the one who can truly understands me.
When my thought centers around the fact
that you didn't even try to find me
my whole body shrinks...
And I feel a storm of resentment
piling up inside.
The green-colored monster then says
Well, let him live with his emptiness
As he deserves such fate.
So, when my thought centers around the fact
that you didn't even try to find me
I am unable to forgive you.

As I let you live with your emptiness
I let myself live with the same vacuum.

In that passing glance
and with your cheerful face
from the other side of the window...
We painted the moment with our true emotions.


Beyond all material things
and this material world
where people maintain a ledger
I would like you to remember me in that moment!
I would like you to remember us in our smiles!
Because we were bare and pure.


When we met after many months
monsoon has already arrived in the city
making the road muddy and full of potholes. 
Thanks to the rain and water
that made you wait there for some seconds
and gave me a chance to freeze the moment on my canvas.
