This is my third Bakrid with you.
The first Bakrid, I won't forget.
I was extremely happy
to see you before the holiday.
Last year, it was on 12th August
It was lonely...
This year, I received fleeting happiness
and simultaneously pain...
It is still lonely!
Somewhere, someone is saying
This is your "third" Bakrid...
Just note down THIRD.
I feel saturated living here
Same old routine; Same old faces
Some are so dark human beings
That don't feel to see them
again and again.
There is nothing here
which can keep me on
Even you fade
If I focus on my future
and my shabby living.
For you, this is heaven!
You didn't live anywhere on Earth
for so long like me;
Sometimes I am jealous of you (am I ?)
By thinking at least you have
something to cling on--home, family, roots
I am rootless like a hanging Money Plant
who changes water time and again.
(Note: Is there truly anything for which I need to feel jealous :) The answer is NO. It is just a phrase I have used how it is used in my "second home" casually to continue a conversation and also to admire someone for something! I thought I would clarify this for my anonymous readers. )
