Eid 2019

Last year, it was different during this time.
Huge waves surrounded me and I was not within "me."
Thinking through those days
I found myself floating in the ethereal energy.

This time, I feel I have had enough ups and down!
The past year has been an emotional roller coaster;


This time I am so numb that
I don't even see the beauty of deserted back streets
                                                          or dusty roads
This time I feel like going under a deep slumber
This time all I want is "rest"--from everything.
This time, I don't even feel to talk or wish anyone.
