Evolutionary Ancestors

Here, on the 7th floor
you will frequently face your evolutionary ancestors
....especially if you take the  backstairs;
They always come in the afternoon
And mess up with the dustbins.
Some days back, just before the evening
I met one of them;
Both of us were frightened to see each other;

Fear caught me completely and
I couldn't move until it showed its teeth and
mercilessly got ready for an attack on its successor;
At that right moment
I found my senses,
I screamed and ran away.
