Whiskers

Slowly he became used to
her novel way of threatening;
Her style involved
grabbing and pulling
his beard out of (fake) anger.
Sometimes the threatening included a wish---
wish of giving his whiskers
a secret but uneven cut so that he gets forced into
its complete removal.
